We, the volunteers and staff, at Renfrew and Area Seniors’ Home Support work together to...
“Preserve the independence of seniors and adults with disabilities by enabling these individuals to remain as active as possible for as long as possible in their own homes and communities."
How We Will Meet Our Goals
Renfrew and Area Seniors’ Home support will continue to recognize the vital importance of our volunteers to the delivery of our programs, governance and to fund development. Without our volunteers we could not fulfill our mission of preserving the independence of seniors’ and adults with disabilities by enabling them to remain as active as possible for as long as possible in their own homes and communities.
Along with our volunteers we strive to maintain high quality dimensions in our day-to-day service:
► Accessibility Clients obtain services that are responsive to their needs.
► Appropriateness Services are provided according to currently acceptable knowledge and/or standards of practice.
► Continuity Services are provided in a manner that promotes continuity and consistency.
► Effectiveness Services are provided in the correct manner.
► Efficiency Efforts are made to use our program resources wisely and to access other community resources available when it makes sense to do so.
►Client Perspective Clients play an active role in deciding which service(s) they require and are encouraged to contact the office if they have any questions or concerns or wish to modify their service plan.
Long Term Desired Outcome
To continue to provide practical volunteer based services (Transportation, Friendly Visiting, Telephone Assurance, Home Maintenance, Frozen Meals, Grocery Delivery and Client Intervention & Assistance) that help seniors and adults with disabilities to remain active for as long as possible in their own homes and communities.
